UTAH

Zion National Park and Bryce Canyon, Utah

Rick and I were so anxious to get started on our road trip through Zion National Park this morning. We looked like a couple of weird, hyped up  kids. We entered Zion on the Eastern side and the views were amazing. Driving through the giant tunnel (one mile long) and entering on a high sandstone shelf, it felt like we were entering a whole new world. We got to witness mountain climbers on one of the highest rocks as we past them off in the distance. Our tour guide said it's takes 2 days for a climber to reach the top.

We headed on up to Bryce Canyon, stopped and grabbed a delicious Reuben sandwich, then checked into a cute little cabin. Tomorrow we are going to take some pictures of Bryce Canyon and then drive from there on Utah's All- American Road, Scenic Byway 12.
